With the ability to create pieces from pure imagination comes the ability to recreate pieces that you may have lost – or make new precious jewelry based on costume jewelry, or completely reinvent jewelry that you don’t wear any more. The images on this page represent a few examples of our work in this vein.
Lost jewelry or old jewelry, remade new
This customer wanted a vintage-look ring. She brought us the rings shown in the small photo on the left. We used the center marquise and other diamonds to create a new ring with a raised filigree pattern on the side facets and cast it in white gold. The result was a slightly nostalgic but thoroughly modern piece (Large image shown on the right). Below are more examples of how we've breathed new life into old, outdated and tired jewelry.
Our customer wanted to update this ring and match her wedding band. We designed a new ring with channel set diamonds to match the band, and smaller micro pavé set diamonds as top and bottom accents to the rubies. The large stones are mounted using white gold for added brightness.
This customer had a pair of diamond earrings, her engagement ring and a diamond wedding band which she wanted to use all in a single ring. Our final design placed the three large diamonds in the center and used the smaller diamonds in channels on each side, all in white gold.
The ring at left was our customer’s favorite costume band, but she stopped wearing it because the stones kept falling out. She came to us with a challenge to recreate the band in precious metal using genuine stones. Now she can wear her band proudly again.
