A Piece of History

150th Kentucky Derby Trophy

Baxter's partnered with S.R Blackinton this year to complete the 150th Anniversary Trophy for the Kentucky Derby!

Hand Selected, Hand Set

As with all our stones at Baxter's, the gemstones and diamonds for the trophy were hand selected and chosen from the finest quality. All the stones on the gemstone blanket and within the body of the trophy were hand set by our master jeweler in our store. There are over 23 carats of natural rubies, emeralds and diamonds within the trophy.

A Team Effort

The trophy has been constructed in Rhode Island by S.R Blackinton for the past five decades and with this year being the 150th Anniversary they knew it had to be something special. Our owner Paul, CAD team and Master Jeweler worked in collaboration with the S.R team to come up with this stunning piece of history!
